CAT unveil new trucks

The big news of the first day of the Melbourne Truck Show is the release of a new truck brand. The Navistar/Caterpillar joint venture, NC2, have launched the CAT truck brand, to be built in Melbourne. The initial models, the CT 610 and the CT 630, will be powered by the Cat C 13 ACERT engine and based on the US Prostar models sold by Inter in North America. This is a major development and these people are making some big calls. Yes, the Cat brand is very strong in Australia but is this truck offering different enough from what we already have here?
