Despite prolonged talk of a slow down in the demand for new trucks after an unexpected bouyant first half to 2008, the latest truck sales figures for June released by the Truck Industry Council (TIC) show sales records continuing to be broken.

The increased truck sales in 2008 are still holding their own the expected dip at the start of the year did not materialise, instead a prolonged rise in sales has continued through into May.
