Iveco looking to buy?

A report on Reuters is suggesting Iveco may be looking to buy or merge with a partner, presumably another truck manufacturer.   Iveco have been left behind in recent years with the emergence of global truck manufacturing groups like Daimler, Volvo, Paccar and Volkswagen/MAN/Scania.

Cummins to end engine alliance

Cummins have announced it has concluded its joint ventures with CNH Global and Iveco, two Fiat Group companies. Under the new agreement, Cummins will purchase CNH’s equity stake in Consolidated Diesel Company (CDC) and will sell its interest in the European Engine Alliance.
