Greg Martin confirmed as NTC Chairman

The National Transport Commission (NTC) has confirmed that the Australian Transport Council has appointed Greg Martin as Chairman and Frank Muller as Member of the Commission.

ATA welcomes Deegan

The ATA has welcomed the appointment of Michael Deegan as the Australian Government’s first Infrastructure Coordinator. Deegan will run the day to day operations of Infrastructure Australia and will assist the Infrastructure Australia Advisory Council, which is chaired by Sir Rod Eddington.

Road rule changes

The NTC have released proposed improvements to the Australian Road Rules in the latest amendment package. One of these changes includes a requirement for drivers to give an advanced left or right turning signal before entering a roundabout.

Ministers appoint new NTC Commissioners

The National Transport Commission (NTC) has confirmed that Transport Ministers have appointed Michael Deegan, Professor Ian Johnston AM, Greg Martin, Julie-Anne Schafer and Bill Noonan AOM as Commissioners of the National Transport Commission (NTC). Deegan will continue in his role as Chairman, with Martin appointed as Deputy Chairman.
